CSA (Community Supported Agriculture)
If you love to eat fresh vegetables and fruits, value organic food, and seek to support your local farming community, our CSA is for you. CSA signifies Community Supported Agriculture. A CSA is an agreement between farmer and customer whereby the customer purchases a subscription to a season of the farmer's fresh, seasonal food. For more about CSAs, click here: CSA.
Our CSA members enjoy a weekly box of six to seven of our certified organic seasonal fruits, vegetables, and herbs with recipes. A weekly box feeds a household of one to three people.
Members pick up their boxes at the farm (913 Arthur Minnis Road, Hillsborough) on Thursdays from 3pm to 6pm. Members pay up front for a 12-week session. We offer two sessions in 2025: May 1 to July 17 and July 25 to September 9.
The contents of weekly boxes vary depending on what is growing. A typical box in June might include strawberries, lettuce, chard, beets, blueberries, carrots, and potatoes. A typical box in the September might include tomatoes, peppers, pawpaws, figs, green beans, and kale.
Members receive, in addition to their weekly box, discounts to farm events; and we host members-only gatherings throughout the year.
